Question 1.
management theories have evolved over time with the set thinking of the society that they formed in. Each theory has been a result of a need for a type of structure to suit the conditions of the era. Thus forming an organizational structure which both the employees and workers understand. An example of this would;d be that Classical/Scientific management evolved in a time when people where use to the autocratic structure within their own society. today however we live in a democratic environment where externally people are use to being allowed to have their say. This links back to external sources of change influencing businesses. For this instance it would be social and political external sources pushing for a change in management. This change occurred during the mid 1950’s where the emergence of the behavioral theory and has continued form there.
